My Predictions
Regals
Out with Shaded Spruce, in with Pretty Peacock. Half true. However, we got Pretty Peacock, which was my #1 wish for the refresh, so I’ll take it.
Brights
Out with Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight and Coastal Cabana. In with Magenta Madness, Pineapple Punch and Lemon Lime Twist. I didn’t do so well, on this one, having only called Lemon Lime Twist, but I think we still moved toward the balance that I was going for.
Subtles
Goodbye Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam. Welcome to stay Pale Papaya and Fresh Freesia. Peal Pink stayed, but Blushing Bride is gone, and that’s a good enough trade off.I am kind of surprised the Soft Sea Foam stayed and Pale Papaya didn’t, but we’ll see how they go forward. In defense of losing Pale Papaya, we did get a lot of good neutrals going forward. Fresh Fressia takes its needed space in the purples.
Neutrals
In with Cinamon Cider and Misty Moonlight? Almost. We got Misty Moonlight back and Pecan Pie, instead of Cinamon Cider. I’ll call it even.
There was some rearranging between families, which I didn’t expect to be a thing, but I’ll post the new color palettes soon. What incoming color are you most looking forward to? Which do you hate to lose? Overall, how do you feel about the new palette?
